Reverse 911
The Oak Island Police Department has obtained the ability to initiate a Reverse 911 call to its citizens. This allows for emergency notifications to be sent quickly and efficiently to all citizens at one time in the event of an emergency or other notification that covers a large area.
Currently the system only recognizes LISTED telephone numbers. If you utilize a cellular phone as a primary number or have an unlisted number, you will need to register your number with our service provider. The number that you register will be linked to your address and you may register as many numbers as you like.
You can register your number 3 different ways.
1. Email
This allows the community to register unlisted or cellular numbers by submitting their information via the Internet.

2. Telephone
The Registration Line is a toll-free number for members of a community with unlisted phone numbers or cellular numbers to call and register to be part of the program.
The number to FIRSTCALL Network’s Registration Line: (866) 484-3264.
This process is very user friendly.
Once the public calls the line they will be prompted on each step of the process.
These prompts guide the user in how to use the system and what information to leave.
The system will ask for:
Name
Phone Number
Street Address
City
State
Zip Code
Once the submitted number has been entered into the system, the person registering will then receive a message via the submitted number as a call back from the system confirming their registration.
3. Internet
Web Registration - Allows the community to register unlisted or cellular numbers by submitting their information on our secure web site.
Simply go to www.firstcall.net click on Unlisted Registration fill out the form and click submit.
The numbers submitted to this program are protected, under the normal non-disclosure agreement that FIRSTCALL and the client enter in to. FirstCall only delivers the messages that the community officials tell us to deliver.
The public will not receive telemarketing calls from FirstCall.
