Reverse 911

The Oak Island Police Department has obtained the ability to initiate a Reverse 911 call to its citizens. This allows for emergency notifications to be sent quickly and efficiently to all citizens at one time in the event of an emergency or other notification that covers a large area.

Currently the system only recognizes LISTED telephone numbers. If you utilize a cellular phone as a primary number or have an unlisted number, you will need to register your number with our service provider. The number that you register will be linked to your address and you may register as many numbers as you like.

You can register your number 3 different ways.

1.  Email
